Awesome thread. The only thing worthy I have to add is a big couloir 1st descent in the coast range from 2011. The fat snow pack that year allowed us to ski the line top to bottom which does not go on normal years.
A drive by to scope our line in the heli. Skied the spines from the top down to the big ramp in the middle.

Me standing on top of the line looking for the best entrance.

I found the entrance and dropped in on the most prominent spine line.

Schralped spine and making the turn onto the big ramp.
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature... Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. -Helen Keller

Figure I might as well post something useful for once. These are from March last year, but I'm jonesing to get back out as my ACL is healing and the snow is coming down today:

I admit we backed off this one due to concern about first ever run on dynafiddles. Wish I hadn't and will now wait for the snow year to do it again.
One col over to the right. Not the best straight down shot, but entered between the two closer shark fins... A good day.
