Recommend me some DH goggles.
So the last couple seasons I've been using my ski goggles for when I ride my dh bike. I've decided to actually get some dedicated goggles for shuttling etc this season as my ski goggles are kinda beat. Should I put down the money for some Oakley's or just get something cheap? I use a troy lee moto helmet so ideally I'd like them to fit with the helmet.

POC iris dh/flow and oakley crowbar moto are both super nice.
best part is that replacement moto lenses are like 10-15.
i like the oakly light blue tint for dh.

The best moto goggles in terms of lens quality I've ever used are progrip light sensitive goggles. Best bright sun to shaded woods goggles evah!
But they're frames are hudge and make you all schwetty, so I've been using oakley crowbars the last two summers. They work well.STRAVA: Enabling dorks everywhere to get trails shut down........ all for the sake of a race on the internet.

Goggles come up fairly frequently on Chainlove. I like the Smith goggles I got there for ~$20. That said, I don't know or care much about optic quality. I basically want something to stop the mud and wind from getting in my eyes and that doesn't fog up.

I love this store. It's basically Backcountry.com for the motorized world. Stuff is shipped out of Utah. Go to closeouts and you'll find lots of goggles (Smith, Oakley, etc.) under $30.00 including the Smith Intakes mentioned above for $22.00. Personally, I love Smith products. I have used Spy, Oakley and many other brands in years past. Smith has such great products and customer service that everything that goes on my face now is Smith.

Closeouts on this site is also a great place to pick up jersey's and gloves.

Another vote for the Smiths -- I like the sensor lens that shifts with the light. They are cheap so when they get scratched you don't freak out which is a plus for me.
