Hate to break it to you Slaag, but that carpet is well beyond any help from Miss Hoover or even Mr Servicemaster. I think the dating wizard costume is going to be more of a concern for the lady friends than the carpet anyway.

This thread has so much win, it's hard to describe. But none of the other pictures beats the shock and awe of opening the thread for the first time and seeing the first picture.

I prefer an old dynamic climbing rope and a "come along" between two trees. Two six footish pieces of rope or webbing and a few carabiners make it extra slick to setup. The elasticity of the dynamic rope adds a dimension in mid span of the line but requires adding tension as the rope adjusts. The come along is the key to easy ghetto tensioning.

neither - i stay for free - a friends storage bedroom. i do own a house but i rent it out to cover the mortgage. in about 6 years it will be paid for so i can live there! the pellis were from my foodstamp days - over now. these days its the plasma center and the foodbank. with the new rates for plasma - they pay bases on weight and i'm a fat ass - i should have a season pass at the bird by october or november.

    Word!

...and you hang it low enough that it won't wack you in the balls when you fall, and then you won't need those stupid leg guards (or was he riding the kids bike?)...

DD, why're you hatin on the Freeks?
    I see no hippies.
Having a little beard, and wearing dull, tucked in Tshirts, makes you a hippie?
    Fuck me sideways!
More like a priest in training..

Oh wait, silly me, those head-rags they're wearing have some kind of psychedelic pattern on them, is that it?

Dude, you need to Upgrade your Putdowns.
I may be living in the past, but Hippies were rarely dull...

those are good points about slacklining. the guys were at the drum circle in liberty park - they were kind of a travelling circus. they came on unicycles - hence the leggings. the third guy - not in the pics - had just got back from san fran or berkeley where they had the unicycle trials nationals - he came in 3rd.

at least in slc the drum circle brings everyone together in a very peaceful group - baby boomers, flower children, hippies, yuppies, punk rockers, goths, grunge, gen xers, ravers, or skin heads...

check out that move at 2:18 in the second one!
The blues has always been about taking your problems and turning them into something you can dance to, drink to and fuck to.
We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

I hope you meant the first vid where he is doing the swinging surfer. Cuz I don't see a single thing in the second vid around 2:18 that has anything cool at all.
