Dude, you need a new host. THis is rediculous. It takes days to load a page, and as the site I visit most, this has become way more then annoying. I can point you in the right direction for a solution, hell, we'd all cough up the loot for a real server, but this ones got to be fixed or moved.

He mentioned a couple days ago they were getting hit with Denial of Service attacks a lot. That coupled with the election fallout traffic could amount for the slow servers.

Okay, okay, maybe $20 is alittle steep. I was just thinking of how much my last bag of H cost, and since posting/reading here is arguably as addictive, it might be a better substitute. And with less track marks.

If you did want to go to a subsciption model, you could let the first 100 posts be free (sort of like drug dealers do). Very few of the alisaes ever amass more than 100 posts, plus it wouldn't be a turn-off for the jongs since they could join the community without dropping any cash. On the other hand, I think a donation model would probably be just as successful (if not more so).
