Web Design Work in exchange for...
Discounts on custom skis.
I need a site, but I suck at making one. It is a for small custom ski manufacturer, another 333 thread means it is time for me to get this together and get my product out there to more people. I can give you a pretty good discount on basically whatever you want in exchange for a sweet site.
I know I want an intro page giving some details about who I am/what I do, a page about pricing and design, and a gallery of completed designs. I already have the domain name set up and hosting is going to be through a friend who has extra space/bandwidth. PM or e-mail me through my profile.Last edited by krp8128; 04-10-2010 at 07:16 PM.

a sweet site is worth more than a pair of custom skis, I'd suggest offering 100% discount
If you french fry when you pizza you're going to have a bad time.

I'd love to do that, but I just graduated, can;t find a job and am flat out broke. I just used the money I had set aside for things like some more tools, material for demo skis and a site to pay of a couple credit card bills.
I guess I want a mediocre site?
I can set someone up with a pair of skis at cost, and possibly work something else out.

Web design = $40/hour. Minimum site cost for a decent designer = $1000. That's 3-4 FREE pairs of skis.

My advice -- get Wordpress, DiY. You're making your own skis, make your own simple site. Just keep it basic, clean, organised, tie it in with Facebook, and that's all you need for now given you are in the start-up stage.
