Does this ski exist??? A narrower K2 Darkside 120mm waist

I'm thinking of a ski very similar to the K2 Darkside, slight camber, small rocker, but narrower, like 120-125mm in the waist...

I really like the idea of just a fat ski with some rocker that can lay a line down rather than smearing all over, the Darkside seems to be the only contender in this catagory but I'm wondering if there is anything like it just narrower...

The Darkside is 128mm underfoot, which is 3mm away from your 125mm. Don't sweat the small stuff; it can lay a trench.

FYI, the Darkside next year has even longer rocker than the Pontoon.

ok, closer to 120mm, I telemark on Megawatts(125mm) and I just feel like 128 is on the threshold of being able to throw down an edge like I'd like to. I can hold an edge on the the 125mm waist if I work hard, but the lack of effective edge and floppy nose aren't capable of driving through anything other than untracked.

hold your fingers half a centimeter apart.

SERIOUSLY? who gives a fuck. anything you'd ski with a 120 mm ski is deep enough for the extra width

Isn't that basically what the Sidestash is?

Atomic Atlas, 125 underfoot, rockered tip, camber, flat tail, or Salomon Rocker.

If you want "narrower" that skis a line vs smears it you might consider moving down one quiver spot to the narrower "big mountain" style category: Salomon El Dictator (114 underfoot, rocker, camber, flat tail), Line Mothership, etc etc. These ski lines more than they smear. Lhasa would fit nicely here too: slight camber, rockered shovel, slight pintail. Holds an edge, floats, etc.

Praxis big mtn 120 (120mm) waist, large rocker tip shovel, flat stiff tail, little positive camber and decent amount of sidecut.

just my .02 is that you are more limited by the fact that the skis are megawatts vs that they are 125mm. not to hate on the megawatt, but the design is pretty different from the construction used in the k2 sidestash line... as is the rocker line and amount of splay.

also worth looking at is the dps lous 120 hybrid construction... that ski will address your ride desires as well.

The Atomic BentChetler & Moment Night Train are both in the vicinity of what you may be looking for.

You might like one of these, but none of them has as much tail sidecut as the Darkside:
