Good independent / boutique clothing brands?

So it's time for some new ski threads. Just as with the backpacking gear I buy, I'd like to spend my $ with an independent company rather than a corporate giant. But I'm not familiar with who is making quality indie ski wear. Would like to avoid a company with tons of debate as to their quality (i.e. the 333 skis debacle)

Any recommendations? Internet-only is fine with me.

    gracias in advance

They're indy but bigger than i think the little indy you might be looking for, but they've had a few years to work it out and I think this years product is bang on...plus their warranty, customer service, exclusive use of eVent and fact they are 100% made in Canada (for now) = Westcomb.

Thanks Seatown - time for a jacket only, unfortunately.

And thanks you guys for the flylow and trew mentions. Gonna check them out as well. Good options.

Based out of Colorado, but manufactured in China. Great quality stuff, however.

Burgess Custom is popular here in JH. I know the gal in charge and she is a super cool. Her clothes are really nice.

    Made in USA.

I like the idea of that Burgess custom as I never find the combination of gaudy green and quality build that I am looking for. Do these guys do a good job?

Integral Designs was recently purchased by Rab, so ID is not as small and cozy as it once was. Rab says that ID stuff will continue to be made in Canada. Neither ID nor Rab is ski specific, but they make the highest quality and best designed mountaineering garments I've seen.

www.sagaouterwear.com, the best out. Waterproof and well made. The Large size is the best cut ever, and the not so bright colors are awesome.

Trew is cool, techy fabrics and features with loose comfy cuts, definitely good if you want to wear pads underneath.

The medium is tiny. The XL is massive. The large is conservative, slim but longer.
