DaKine Stuff (Besides Packs) and Ortovox X1?

I did some searching, read a lot on the packs, am now well edumacated. My question is though, anyone know anything about the other DaKine BC stuff, like the probe and the shovels? I ask because the shop I'm working at doesn't carry BC stuff, and though I can get things through friends who work at BC stores, I'd rather just proform DaKine stuff since we do deal their stuff.

Also, according to the website, DaKine distributes the new Ortovox X1 beacon. Anyone use this?

The DK shovels are rebadged Voilé shovels. So they are good.
Don't know about the rest.

Dakine probes are just rebadged Ortovox, rebadged shovel's are Voile, everything else, you get what you pay for.....

Try a search on the Ortovox or for the BCA Tracker. There was a thread lately re: its usability. Seems to be too complex for its own good, but if you know how to use it quickly and efficiently then its all good. My $0.02.

I did try searching for Ortovox, but couldn't really find any info on the X1, just the F1.
