Korean War II?
Isolationism should be the name of this game for the United States!

What do you think? We are going to bomb or invade them over this? Not bloody likely.
Sanctions and tension... the norm. DPRK is always taking potshots at ROK... sometimes they hit.
And full on isolationism is as retarded as W levels of interventionism.Originally Posted by blurred

Kim Jong Il: Or else what?
Hans Blix: Or else we will be very angry with you... and we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

The guy's getting old. I'm sure he wants to go out with a big bang. Might be time to bring down the laser on top of his head.

Quite a shitshow...
Wonder if it was a mine, torpedo attack or missile strike? Or ships own magazines blown up?
Mine attack would be probably dampened down with little consequences but a direct attack with torp/missile...hell...NK would better to keep it´s ships in the ports in the coming months...
And bigger escalation...hmm...china/us/SK would be hard pressed to escalate the situation in the current economical situation. None of them would want a limited, let alone full blown conflict... unless the chinese has some masterplan going on behind the scenes.
The floggings will continue until morale improves.

I don't follow, this is a mutual relationship, to a large extent they are rich with American money. This isn't 1999 it aint' cheap walmart shit and textiles anymore the leading import is office machinery and computers, that kind of development takes significant investment, investment they aren't going to piss away because KJ sunk some ship.
If your a party leader in China the worst thing that could happen is that they stop selling goods to the U.S. because Chinese people go along with the political bs because their getting rich.
Nothing will happen with the U.S. and China because its gotten to the point that neither can exist in its current form without the other.
The U.S and China are like an old married couple, the bitch alot but each one knows its till death do us part. You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?
