The term "horny wife" goes against values and is inappropriate!

So, I am also a member on ArcheryTalk.com. Decent site, lots of good archery information, laden with bible-wielding conservatives who take society very seriously and who want to keep their site clean.

So, I start a thread (partly in humor) called, "Horny Wife or Bowhunting?" It is the off season for archers, and they are currently arguing about baiting, Ted Nugent, and how to broadhead tune. Did I note that most of the JONGS on that site refuse to search?

The thread I started included a poll, and asked, "Which would you prefer in the morning? A horny wife or a morning of bowhunting?" The thread lasted twenty minutes before it was pulled.

Sent a moderator a PM about it, and didn't hear back until a bit ago. Get this, I was told the thread was inappropriate for viewing and went against the values of the site! They were worried it might offend some teenagers on the site as well as women on the site!

Man, what the hell is coming of the world nowadays? Brittany Spears can show her clam shell to the world and I can't start a thread with that title?

What the hell is going on with people?!?

C'mon, I don't bow hunt and even I know the term "horny wife" is pure fantasy... if you had gone with "horny girlfriend" or "horny mistress" I'm sure it would have been fine.

It's weird how people detest sex or foul language so much more than violence. There are so many gaming servers/forums that don't allow swearing and such, but it's a game where you're killing each other in graphic fashion. Now, some of that is to keep the flame wars and homoerotisism down, but it's still hypocritical.

Oh yeah, and you can watch with a bow what you can kill with a rifle. BWAHAHA!

Bow hunting is the shizzle. Nothing like it that I have ever done. I hope I never have to choose between pow days, river trips, bow hunting and sex - cause they are all right up there neck and neck.

I am using a 15 yr old competition bow and have no $300 ogunkuses on mine. It weighs too much but shoots real nice.

What are they saying about baiting? I've have quite a few conversations with other bow hunters about baiting. I'm totally against it and will not bait myself. Now most of the people I talk to are supposedly against it as well, but they still bait. Their excuse is because everyone else baits.
