Hilarious!!! My kind of fun right there, throwing it out there just cuz you can.
This line kind of reminds me of Jerome Ruby and Dede Rhem's descent of the Grandes Jorasses' Linceul route (lookers left hanging icefield)
lots of turns above like 8 or 10 raps. Or the otterbody on the grand. Just to get 'out' there and go down something out of the ordinary.
Sometimes, its more about the exposure than the turns.
What kind of anchors did you fix (it looks like he might be hammering in a pin in one shot?)? Silly classic lines like this deserve to be made into 'trade' routes with solid rap anchors (I have one in the sierra on tap for the spring, bolt kit in the mail!) to allow everyone to have a laugh and hold safety meetings and be confident in the rap anchors. Not scary enough? Make a turn! Now do it in hard snow!
The best part about alpine activities is that everyone is welcome!
In the paraphrased words of Will Gadd, "We don't know what we are doing, but here, have a go!"
Best two turn-TR of the year for sure!!!!!

I feel very insignificant.
When I started the thread I thought it was just a pipedream with a picture. Then the TR started and I was like wtf no...((. The joy I get from skiing...
.))
((. That's worth living for.

I'm amazed, but my strongest feeling reading this is: I do _not_ want to be there.Dwell not upon thy weariness; thy strength shall be according to the measure of thy desire.

Good hell. This pic gets me all nervous and scared just looking at it and thinking of trying to do a kick turn on something that steep and exposed.
Proud line dude, and thanks for sharing it with us.

Good job, guys. That was a great read with even better pics. Stupid and ridiculous but great nonetheless.

It takes a special mentality to look at that mountain and see a skiable line there."Nothing is funnier than Hitler." - Smokey McPole

I saw the first pic with the line and thought it had to be a joke until the TR started... I felt scared just looking at the pics. Mother of God you guys are crazy but thanks for taking pics, such craziness should always be shared!
