So I blew out my third-season Surface Watch Life's yesterday on some slushy PA bumps...

Im going to Cali end of March so, I want to get these guys fixed without spending an arm and a leg.. Figured someone might have run into the same problem and knew how to fix them

    Any ideas?

Delete this thread and repost in tech talk or use serach function - delam or epoxy might be good terms to start with.

    Don't listen to PNWbrit.

The solution here is to build an entirely brand-new ski from scratch.
    Go to Ski Builders.com

    http://www.skibuilders.com/

There should be instructions on how to build your replacement ski from scratch.

A jong is where you place a joint in the cone of a bong and pack weed around it, then light the joint, and smoke it through the bong, until you eventually get to the cone.

    Better late than never

I'd try JB Weld - ain't nothing it can't bind or fill. Worth a shot, it will work though it is just a matter if these remain your go-to-ski or your rock skis. Also put some plastic ski tip protectors on for safe measure.

PS I came across this thread looking for plastic ski tip replacements for my Salomon XWings,so they don't de-laminate - so I guess this post does have value, thank you Tenon for not deleting it.

Does anyone with idea's where for get these. Salomon website is not helpful.
Maybe if I knew what these were actually called a Google search would be more helpful.

    Thanks

    James

    Hi James!

Your best bet is to send Rontele on this board a private message. he has a range of plastic ski tip replacements that he produces out of his small plastics fabrication shop.

P.S. Don't ask about his regular range of products unless you're very broadminded.
