    No shit!

Laughing is ok, it's the sneezing or coughing...

Took a digger into a broken tree branch and was sure I had impaled myself!

So I found out it's 2 ribs on my back left side, and really bad bruising of the muscles on the left side and into my lower back. Everything's in spasm, so I walk like I'm totally crooked; sleeping sucks. Popping vicodin which helps, but man this hurts...

As of today I am 3 months out from breaking one and dislocating 2 others on my back right side, with some pretty hard bruising inside as well as bruised a lung (coughing up blood hurt like hell and scared the shit out of me). Doc said it may take 6 months for the cartiledge to heal and not be painful. Arrrggg....

Still can't use poles to ski so been riding the board. I can't believe I am still in pain. Sometimes it still hurts enough to hit the Loritab.

Not fun at all. Hoping it won't hamper my biking. With such a low snow year and being injured I am just not into this season anymore. Instead I am heading up to the mountain each weekend to teach my 5 year old.

Wow Buzz, that doesn't sound fun. Mine were the back left - and I apparently bruised my spleen too. I went for a light mtb ride and gone for a surf at the 2 week mark - it was just too soon. I was also set back with a head cold which had me sneezing a ton last week, which sucked. I'm 3 weeks out now, and this was the first weekend where I felt pretty comfortable sleeping and working around the house. Big swell here for the next few days, so we'll see how that goes.

LOL! I bet you could say that for many on these boards...

YES, skied last 2 days without issues. If I can not hit em at all for another month I should be fine to MTB.

    What an ordeal.
