Yeah, right through the window. Open a window you might not see the cat again until it was too late.
Be a shame but safety of the kids first.

That crew on the golf-course had a hungry look to them,

I had a roommate who had a pet cougar.
It used to sleep with her and swim in the pool and hang around like one of the crew.
I never felt like I could trust it wouldn't just attack somebody. Like, me.

    cougar

Should have let the cougar in for some food. I am sure it was a little hungry.

Anyways they just seem like a big nice furball to me.

    Local cougar attack

Cougar attack last year just over the border. Victim is the son of a local ski instructor- actually the dad is in charge of the technical training for the Red Mountain Freeride academy. It's a place we mountain bike at least a few times a year.

I have a Pyrenees/wolf named Fred. He's a big and unbelievably strong and quick dog. My roommate has an attack trained German Shepard. He took her dog out in less than two seconds when the shepard growled at Otis, my Jack Russel and Fred's sidekick. He could kill a cougar or another wolf, I'm sure. I'm glad he takes training so well or I'd really worry about him getting out and doing some damage. The cool thing is that he is totally cool with other animals and people. But the minute another dog shows aggression, his switch flips.

Anyone who's tangled with a pissed off stray cat weighing in at ~10# would know the answer to this:

    Amazing pics in this thread.

    The real question is:
If you kill the cat, would you eat it?

I recently read an article about a hunter killing a mountain lion that mentioned he planned to grill the legs, that struck me as just weird.

    The other, other white meat?
