    Big Sky Stoke (buncha pics)

It's been a really fun winter around these parts. Great early season, and plenty of snow thus far, with still lots of winter left. We had fun taking these. Have fun looking at them.

    Leftover cold smoke.

I wish this place were a little more scenic.

Whaddya mean Big Sky has a lot of rocks?

A little work is worth the effort..

    Ooooooo this was fun.

    One point off-kilter landing? Check.

Shawn flew all the way from DC for this single turn.

Just noticed how crooked this background was. Whoops.

    Yours truly.

    Yeeeaaaah.

Ok that's all. Now go skiing.

    Do you ski and snowboard?

Nice pics. I was hoping someone would post pig sty pics, esp. after the huge dump you just received. ^^ Not the big, maybe Z.

As for the cables, they take them down once a week for cleaning.

Cables are definitely visible in the picture, if you are using a laptop just push the screen back and you can see the contrast between the tow line and the snow.

uh, I don't know about the great early season and plenty of snow so far. This isn't Colorado, this is a bad year.

    Sweet photos nonetheless.

    Sweet photos nonetheless.

Snow totals for the season from Oct. 1 to date are about 145". We are at about the 1/2 way point for the season. The skiing has been decent and the coverage is good.

Not an epic year, but not a BAD year by any means. I have seen bad years on Lone Mtn. and this ain't one.

And please don't try to tell me about 400" a year.

Big Sky's snow measuring is severely compromised due to wind. I won't tell you about 400" years on Lone Peak. Enjoy and thank you for skiing Big Sky.

The wind doesn't effect how much falls from the sky, it effects where it all ends up.

So far this winter has been very much not windy.

    Thanks for playing.

    Great TR BTW.

Yup, that's all I'm saying. Been having a blast and can't wait to see how the rest of the year pans out.

No snowboarding, I do have a few dopplegangers though.

No a-z's either, that's going up into the ballroom=bottom of the little coolie.

    Glad y'all like the pics.

That is one of the wonders of Lone Mountain. Even in off years the skiing is pretty good.

Last Sat. with 4" new was off the hook good.

    Keep posting them pictures.
