The Ongoing Gilt/Clymb 'great' deals thread

So this Giltman company, www.giltman.com, can have killer deals, it appears.

This thread will be for mags to let others know what screamin deals are coming up that we might be interested. To get access, either request an invite through the site, or get 'instant access' by using a referral from one of the below mags. They then get $25, and you get the goods quicker. PM any or all of them for details. PM me if you want on this list.

So far, for Giltman they are:

    zeroforhire
    unpossible
    Roxtar
    SorryBro
    Danno
    Frosty374
    jepilot
    El Chupacabra
    ACHTUNG
    Fool
    FlatNshallow
    Pruitt
    dynodonkeyaltabird
    blowupthemoon

For www.theclymb.com, the referrals can be found through:

    powderhound100
    zeroforhire
    Fool
    Danno
    bedoe
    Pruitt
    Frosty374
    rsteel3
    RonMexico
    ikkin
    blowupthemoon

Please use discretion bumping this, as mags have a lot of other cool shit they're trying to sell to fund their Bro's and ho's.

The blues has always been about taking your problems and turning them into something you can dance to, drink to and fuck to.
We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

This is a similar site (I believe)

3 days of a product, or a couple products from a company. You can find some killer deals.

Right now they have some sweet jackets and MEN'S ROARK L/S MERINO 1/4 ZIP SWEATERs going for just under $50, compared to the usal $135 and $125

Anyone on or off that list, please PM me with their referral. I will use the one I feel Advres would find most deserving of maggot support.

You could also add ruelala.com. Though they have only had one TGR themed brand (Salomon) in the past and their name sucks, so maybe they don't deserve it until they post some better stuff.

let's not. IMHO we don't need this so broad there's a dozen posts each day with various types of products.

Was pretty excited about the Mountain Hardwear deal. Kind of a letdown. Not many choices. Not a single down piece.

^^^ And only 50% off. Who cares about half off MSRP anyway?

It's not that it sucks. Just that it isn't enough to give me a stiffy on something like Mountain Hardwear. That stuff (admittedly from non-current collections) is regularly available for at least half off. I just assumed that this little exclusivity thing that gilt does was a result of amazing deals.

The trad pack is decent... if you are in the market for one. $80 shipped is an ok deal.

Agreed... not a whole lot of reasons to get too excited.

Agreed. It does sound ridiculous when I (or we) think 50% off isn't that great, but when you look at SAC , Sierra Trading Post, backcountry, etc. 50% off MSRP isn't THAT amazing. For now, though, the sites are still at least worth checking out.

Tye 1on, if you could add me to both giltman/clymb lists I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Yeah... they had better do it.

I have a feeling Gilt has their act together a little more than theclymb.

Gilt is doing a major sale on westcomb gear right now.

    Vapor jacket is $110

    Vapor pants $80 (limited sizes)

PM me for or anyone else on that list for an invite. I don't know how long this sale lasts.

BUT, they do have Eider outerwear (and Killy, but never heard of them)... I'm still waiting for something along the lines of a Down Sweater to come along, though.

Don't go out of your way to do it, but next time you're editing the first post, would appreciate being added as well...
