i don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but a rossi 188 s7 is basically the same overall length (~185cm) and has a shorter running length (by 1-2 cm) than the 184 w112rp (true 184cm). so when you factor in a different flex pattern and sidecut design, the 184cm w112rp is more stable (about as stiff/damp as a super 7) and just as long as a 188 s7. the 190 w112rp is comparably about the same to the 195cm super 7.
so the point is that if a 188 s7 or 188 super 7 is the appropriate ski, the 184 w112 is likely the appropriate upgrade.
and i want to ski like a NINJA, not like a CAVEMAN.

But with the sidecut the 190 still turns on a dime and floats like a dream.

184 Hybrid RP 112 ordered.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Love my 190's so much decided to buy the yvette hybrid for the wifey. I just got back from a trip to mount shasta where they performed very well, much lighter than my moment rubys. They skied really well and a little tip and tail rise helped floating over the sun cups on the lower elevations. They were my go to ski most of the year at alpine. Though my 138s did see some nice knee deep days as well.
Drink to remember not to forget!

Mine arrived yesterday.
These were a warranty pair from a pair of hybrids that I bought back in Feb.
Because I had to wait so long for a replacement, DPS upgraded me and gave me a pair of Pures.
Thanks DPS.
Can wait to try them in Chile.TGR Bureau Chief, Greenwater, WA

just wondering if anyone knows what the dps logo is all about? it looks like 2 skis, one broke in half and a snow flake coming out the other but just wondering if it has any deeper meaning?
