Canadian Open Freeskiing comp at Red Jan 21-23

Is anyone coming around for this? They say "Walk-ins are welcome as we still have a few spots!" I'll be there waiting for people to get hurt so I can help them out. Maybe tossing up some flagging tape. Standing around. Skiing.

The same weekend is Blizzardfest, a local music festival. I'm on-the-fencing about staying in town on Satruday to go to the Miner's Hall party.

Maybe we can meet up. I'm on teh yellow bros, brown pants, either the old school orange (if I'm late) or new school black (if I'm early) patrol jacket (or my regular orange jacket if we run out), black helmet, red osprey pack.

It should be a fun weekend! Looks like precip this week.

Trying to get ahold of the results from yesterday - it's quite busy at the mountain right now.

Excellent conditons today, bluebird morning, and really good snow coverage of the venue. I only got to watch from the top, but I liked what I saw.

The ravens were out playing in the North wind, musta been the Captain saying hi.

Hey Sparkletarte, if you are still on the fence, then stick around if you haven't seen the bobsled race before, it's worth staying in town for...

So, results from yesterday and today anyone?
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

"He is god of snow; the one called Ullr. Son of Sif, step son of Thor. He is so fierce a bowman and ski-runner that none may contend! He is quite beautiful to look upon and has all the characteristics of a warrior. It is wise to invoke the name of Ullr in duels!"
