Lane you're welcome to catch a ride when I go down there. It will be a tight squeeze though (3 people + gear in pickup cab - someones riding the jump seat.)
And now for your snow report for today Oct 20th. I went up to the top of Tahoe Donner (top of Skislope wy and Glacier Ct.) and struck off for the bowl above and behind the ski hill. 2-4' of new on top of ground. Hit no rocks but it wasn't at all settled and breaking trail I kept sinking into bushes making for brutal going. Once I got to the top I hand enough energy for 2 runs about 30 turns total in knee deep pow. It was suprisingly light the top few inches.
