Worst ski area ever. I went XC there recently, because they were suppose to have groomed trails. After I paid the trail fee, they told me that they no longer groom any trails, but I could go anywhere on the golf course I wanted. They wouldn't refund me the fee, so I just skated up their lame ass hill and beat the chair every time.

heh. i was gonna add that one. I think it's their very first version still. Saddleback was pretty bad for awhile even after the new owners took over, but it's finally a better website.

Oh and this is where I learned to ski. Still have a video of me trying to put my heel into the binding first. I used to update the snow phone for these guys, before the bank took over control

I don't really have anything to add, but I'm also happy to pile on the snowbowl hate. I think last year the website didn't get updated when they opened - I had to call them to find out. It regularly has conflicting information in the various pages, so you never really know what is going one. Also note that you can't link directly to the snow report page (or any page other than the main one). Dumb.

Apple Mountain, complete with 220 vertical feet of thrills and chills, doesn't even have a trail map on the site. They do, however, have a 'school special', where all the way thru high school, on a weekday, you can get a lift ticket, equipment rental, and beginner lesson....for $12!!!!!!

i mean seriously!?! its as if they don't want people to ski there.

the snow report is only updated once. there is no snow report email.

the lifts and trails open are never listed.

the new webcam was pointed at the ground, and then the sky. its still not facing a lift or a trail.

the pix in the photos link are all from the 80s.

the graphics look like word art.

the photo of the day is NEVER current.

so creative it doesn't even show up on my browser.

The awesomest part about snowbowl's website is that you can't bookmark their snow report. Frames were awesome in 1994.
    No longer stuck.
