    Anyone watch Conan last night?

That opening monologue was the funniest shit I've ever seen on late night TV.

This whole NBC drama has made Conan very bitter, and his humor much more sharp and funny. Keep it up NBC execs!

Missed it, will need to hulu it.

I so hope that he moves to fox in the same time as letterman and Leno and just kicks ass.

Been watching the Hulu episodes from the last three nights.
Conan: Fucking sends it! That man is funny.
    Kimmel: Funny as well.
Leno: His top clip, "note to NBC" wasn't even NEAR funny. I had no idea. NO funny. Painful. Wow, I remember when he was funny. What happened there?

I guess I just haven't watched that for the last 10 years or so.
Conan is still as funny as ever (his mannerism is even better now), Leno is stale as crouton.

I agree. How anyone could prefer Leno over O'Brien is beyond me.

Nice - Kimmel shows some stones and just sticks it to Leno for about 5 minutes.

I ran out of 20 years worth of Law and Order reruns and crap I've dvr'd. Trust me this late night drama is making for some very funny stuff.

It was funny, I chuckled for sure. But funniest thing ever on all of late night tv? Important enough to start a thread devoted to it? I guess I must not grasp humor, you're right.

OK, that's better. Not the funniest thing, but funny as far as lame monologues go.

Leno does really well with the average mom and pop who watch TV....as with most things, people don't make TV or other decisions based on the minority here on TGR.

I don't normally watch those shows. But I've been watching conan more because it's in the news or whatever. For what it's worth, Conan is actually funny. I do not think I've once chuckled at something Leno said or did. I just always get the feeling that Leno gets by based on very good agents, not on talent.

Earlier this week, as support built for Conan, I thought there was a chance he would stay at NBC. But with the way he went after them last night I seriously doubt it now.

Showing my age here . . . . I prefer Johnny Carson. Johnny had class and was actually an entertainer. Jay panders to the lowest common denominator for most of his humorless drivel.

Conan has his moments. Letterman has his moments. Can't say as I've watched Jimmy Kimmel.

As for Conan's porno titles, I'd go with NBC Lawyer Gang Bang: The Backend Deals.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. that is the first time Conan has been funny in a long time. He was brutal for the last 6 months. He's barely funny as is, and then we he is doing that dumb ass twitter shit - it was unwatchable.
