    One quiver ski...?

(I searched for about 20 minutes couldnt find the answer i was looking for)

What would be the top 3 one quiver skis? Shoguns? Kung fujas? I'm looking for an awesome all mountain ski but cant decide between all the ones I have looked at, if you guys could throw your two cents in that might help me. thanks!

I have the scars in 174 theyre amazing and i love them but they are too wide some of the time. I went to telluride this past week and i skied everything just fine but they were a bit too chattery on the harder packed stuff. I also have my race skis (salomon equip 10 185) but i cant always ride those either.

Gotama's (or Katanas depending on how fat you want to go)... I ride Katana's as my all mtn and kuro's on pow days. I could happily ski Katana's every day of the year. Really versatile do everything ski (mounted @ +1).

Your geographic region would really help with answers to this question...

I'm guessing that if you ask here for a "quiver of one" skis you are almost always going to get suggestions that are at minimum 105-110 waisted (often wider). I'd guess that the top candidates would be S7's, Lhasas, EHP's with some votes for D-Senders, JJ's, goats and XXL's.

I would argue there's no such thing, unless you don't like powder or you don't ski when its hardpack/icy. What is the best bet for all, I'd argue Rossi S3's. S7's maybe just a bit wide for a "do all ski"

Czars definitely don't have enough sidecut to be a one-ski quiver. They don't really carve. At all. However, they are AWESOME in soft snow and crud.

I'd look at something like the Shogun, or if you like softer/more playful skis, the Kung Fujas or S3. Or maybe last year's Gotama. This year's is much less versatile with the full rocker; better on soft stuff, but not as capable on hardpack.

"One quiver ski?" What the hell does that mean? Do you mean "one ski quiver" or "quiver of one ski?" If so, not enough info. Depends on geography, type of skiing, type of skier, range of conditions anticipated, shape/flex preferences, etc., etc.

Depends on where you ski, i.e. like how much new snow you get. Around here, I'd say the Mantra is about the best one quiver ski that I've come across. But, by definition, one quiver skis can ski everything, but not ski any one condition all that well. When it snows I pull out the Katanas. When it doesn't snow, the Mantra rails the piste.

You can't be on this board if you only have one pair of skis.

If you want to go more on the pow side then Lhasa's, but if more firm pack east coast type thing Bro 183's.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Anyone who says you can't get away with one ski as a quiver is the same retarded personality that owns 4+ boats.

I have one of those clown's in my family.

Get fucken real, and realize that something 95 to 100 underfoot with sidecut will ski on anything.

you should tell us more about how you ski, narrow it down to a few choices, and get whichever is cheapest. Not sure why the czar doesn't work for you other than it might be too short. If you're anything more than a skinny chick, a 174cm ski with a lot of rocker is way too small.
    No longer stuck.

This years Gotama not as capable on hard pack???? Seriously? Have you skied it? It friggin rips hard pack. It is the anti rocker. Rips on hard snow. Love it. Way more than last years.

Its like you said that just because it is rockered. The design allows it to still have tip to tail edge contact while on hard pack and then you get the bonus of rocker in the pow. Try to think of it as a pre flexed ski.

Geographic region plays a huge roll in what kind of ski he should have. Far West this years Gotama would be perfect but if he is in Colorado you got to go no wider than 95. Snow is too cold, bumps are too big.

Lhasa 186 was my quiver of one last year for the EC . Now I have 187 XXLs and rockered Bro 192s. I think a stiff 110 or so waist ski is more than adequate out east.

Yup, and I wasn't really stoked on it.
