FAAAAAAAAAAACK! I need tix to the halloween Ween show
Show sold out before I got there. Frustrating, but expected, to see your favorite band get uber popular. 3 or 4 years ago I saw them at RedRocks and the place was half full. Oh, and to all you bottom feeders selling your tix for $100+ on ebay, may you suffocate on the worlds biggest dick sandwich. I've got no problem paying a fair price for a tickets, but the scalper mentality ruins live shows. If anyone knows of anything, let me know.
Thanks.

I was forced to go underground too, got a little taxed.

it was still worth it...but it does piss you off and klinda taint it a little.
edit-on a side note...Eagles of Death Metal tonight for $10 makes me happy.Last edited by steepconcrete; 10-18-2004 at 01:39 PM.

Fuckkk my ass! Tickets are going for $150+ on Ebay. These shitbags are e-scalpers of the worst kind. They hit up ticketmaster and they just re-market the tickets without ever intending on going to the show. Bottom feeders that must rot in hell.

WEEN Shows
Halloween/November Tourdates cancelled
Due to personal reasons we have decided to postpone the upcoming shows. We are extremely sorry to those of you who purchased tickets and made travel plans, but we will be back and much better for it next year. We fully intend on making up the dates in the same cities and same clubs at a later time when our chi is better aligned or something. Again we are very sorry about this, but it's necessary right now. Thanks for understanding.

Wacky..I hope everything turns out ok...I heard Deener? (the little guy who mostly sings--I get mixed up) was not doing too well health wise...I got this bit of info before the show from some random dude in the crowd who said his bro hangs with them...Deen looked pretty bad.

Yea I meant Gener sorry. Dude he looks fat in that pic in comparision, he was way skinny and sickly looking. He also went backstage during the show to "pee" for about 10 min. halfway thru, then came out pretty noodled and fucked up looking in contrast to how he was prior. Hope he is not doing smack.
Whatever it is I hope for the best. Get better dood.

"Here's Gener's post From the Ween board:
Quote:
Everyone, after reading everything over the last few days, I feel as though I should make a statement. I am an alcoholic. This problem must take precedence over any and all aspects of my life. Thank you for all of your concern and support. This is all I can really say at this time. All my love, Papa."

forwarded to me by someone closer to the bubble
Regretfully, we must announce that Ween's upcoming tour of the Midwest
has been cancelled.
There is a problem within the band, that requires an immediate
intervention, for the health, welfare and safety of one of its members.
For this member, years of touring have taken their toll.
This is very sad, of course...but if something is NOT done now...the
consequences could be even more dire than the cancellation of these
dates.
We know that this will be very hard for everyone to accept...and it was
an incredibly difficult decision for the band to come to, but it is
necessary and important.
Please forgive us. Know that this was not done lightly...that it is an
ABSOLUTE necessity.
Ween will come back stronger and they will reschedule these dates at
their earliest possible opportunity.
We thank you for your understanding...we understand your disappointment.
We appreciate your support.
All tickets will be refunded and we'll post that information as soon as
possible.
Greg Frey, manager for Ween
