    Norwegian brand Aclima (www.aclima.no)

100% merino wool and a brilliant hood that is only connected in the back. So yo can choose between normal round neck, hood or just a neck gaitor. Do also come with the zipper in the rear for bathroom business.

I also have a few hoodies from the same brand with the same hood "technology..."

Only used the one-piece a few days, but really impressed. Thinking about buying an extra so I can use this exclusively.

Shirk, did you buy the I/O somewhere in Van?

Ive been looking at a 3/4 bottom(theirs seems spot on) and have had trouble finding one available to try on. The 2 I have tried on were awkward in all the wrong places.

These are not practical for girls for obvious reasons. Saw some of these in a shop a few weeks ago that looked absolutely ridiculous. Pretty close to the one Steven S. Dallas posted. They cost $50+ too. Not for me for sure.

Haha. So I kayak a lot. So do many of my friends. Seeing that the water is around 33 degrees, we all have drysuits. Seeing that we all have drysuits and "techy" base layers are expensive, most of us now rock...

    ...wait for it....

Escape Route in Whistler has IO-Bio. The 3/4 Loose bottoms are wicked, no tight feeling of usual bottoms.

Whats the point of loose fit tech clothing? No wicking.

Not sure, that's just a friend at a random weekend on the Lochsa...but the majority of the onezeez available in the sub $15 range come with integral booties.

Merino allows moisture to pass in vapour form instead of needing it to condense into liquid then "wick" it. Thus it doesn't always need to be right tight next to the skin to work. For high output activities it might not be the highest performance option, but for general ski days it works just fine. Not everyone likes the sausage effect of tight base-layers.

    Kokatat Polartec 100

I use this one kayaking. The seams along the shoulder and back, and the zipper in front are large, intrusive and uncomfortable. I do not recommend.

I kinda like this idea. I'm tired of having my laminated, tucked-in layers come apart and expose my lower back to cold air. But yeah, GF would not like it. They need a wetsuit-zipper version for the chicks that zips from neck to taint.
