Should I buy a Bird Pass?
So...I've got a smokin' deal on a Canyons pass and I'm getting it. Booyakasha.
Now, do I also go in for a Bird pass? This would be for the occasional epic Bird day, and springtime park shralping with phUnk and PowHo and Z and whoever else is into shralping the park in the spring.
I'm thinking...no. Buy a 10-pack or something to the Bird and also have some $$ for shralping Brighton and Park City.
But... if I could get in on Telephil's $500 deal it would probably be worth it.
Hrmm... WWMD?

Absolutely, you will get tired of the flats at the Canyons in no time. Plus early season there will suck compared to the Bird. Then there is late season.

yes you should. the bird rocks the house. who's house you might ask? anyone's house. that's right. the bird is just sick like that. seriously though, 500 bucks for a season at the bird is a deal that would even make a street haggler pleased, but do to his haggling nature he might try to haggle for a higher price just because he's used to that sort of thing. I know it's blasphemy around these parts, but I've always liked the bird more than alta. there, i said it.

Dood,
Voice of reason here.
Quality vs. Quantity. You got the Quantity with the Canyons (plus plenty of quality )
Screw the Bird, save your duckets for powpow days at other places. Expand your horizons I say."boobs just make the world better really" - Woodsy

Definitely don't get the Bird pass. That resort is overrated, unless you enjoy standing in line with tourists from Ohio and skiing chopped up pow. Park City has a better park and Snowbasin has untracked.

yeah, you definitely wont be sitting in line with tourists at park city or the canyons. And the 300 inches of sunbake they get at the canyons will make you think you are somewhere in colorado

I just wanna know -- if I come to the Utah mini in December, who will play with me at Bird or Canyons? I ride, can't go to Alta - and I ain't ever putting on skis again (there, I said it).

I agree Snowbird has better terrain than Alta that is one reason I'm back at the Bird this year. The race for which is better is close in my book but I prefer the Bird. That said a day at the Alta with the usual crew is hard to beat.

I got the bird. You GET the bird......NOW!!!!
Besides, I spent more in fuel driving down to hang with your manky snowboard ass a million times last season than it'll cost your well connected ass to get a pass there this year.
AND, if you are there often, I can use you as the scapegoat as to why I'm going for the 16th day in a row instead of looking for a job.Not soliciting business through casual internet associations
