That's exactly where I hit it, the first time I ever tried the waterfall. Biggest part to flat landing!
It's a classic in my view, ~40ft+, and right in clear view of the lift. I've never had the cajones to step up to it's big brother, 'Air Jordan'. I love watching people connect both cliffs back to back at full speed!

This is the biggest monoski backflip I've ever seen. I've never figured out how those guys do that.

look at how the snow is flying off the ski...that looks like a totally layed out front flip to me. lawn dart style.

also a guy in a warren miller flick..either steep and deep or ski country..in france some place. goes way bigger than that guy. dude its doing double backs adn hits this clif/gap jump where the landing has melted out and just barley makes it.

I was going to, but the thread title is Classic BIG Airs, I figured Madness eclipsed Boss Hog in that respect. Your right though, Boss Hog is a classic air that is definitely worth mention in this thread. Waiting for md9 to chime in here somewhere...

I totally have those skis in my basement right now. Don't worry, they are still used at rocky point on a regular basis.
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy
