The Dead Pod
Anyone listen to The Dead pod?
I like listening to it when skiing. Great stuff, all live recordings from the span of their career.
Nice acoustic stuff this week.

Never heard of it until this thread, but I checked it out yesterday and listened to the JGAB podcast and it was a nice little number. I'll keep checking it out. Thanks!
P.S.
itunes is dead.

yeah sorry i should of posted a link to it so people can listen(thanks nvr2deep). If you are turned off by blue grassy type music this wasn't a good week to listen, but if you like the Grateful Dead its a great way to get some of their music for free.
Search in Itunes under Dead Pod.

If you're turned off by Bluegrassy type music then you shouldn't be a fan of the Grateful Dead.
Nice call on Deadpod. Thanks.

I've been syncing the deadpod to my itunes and iphone for years. Its great. I can't fit my whole GD library onto my phone, but I can have dozens of deadpods on there.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Been exploring this over the last couple days. There is some good shit there. I needed a break from my collection and the GD channel on Sirius Radio.

Is this the one with "The Professor" and mighty fine 89 or something as the station number?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
