It Came From The Mailbox...
I strolled out to the mailbox about an hour ago, since our mailman is a lazy bastard and doesn't come until between 4-6 PM on any given day, and what do I find? The November issue of Powder. Great issue, it seems like they started out good and just keep gettin better this year. Great photos, very nice articles on the JHAF and Sage+the Utah Crew of pros. Also, I really liked the Intro, Tom Bie is a great writer and does wonders for Powder Mag. It was great to see some articles about skiing on the East Coast too, hopefully they'll be more to come. One complaint was the article The Slides at Whiteface, although it was very informative, there are far better slides and ski terrain in general in the Adirondacks than what is offered at Whiteface. A minor gripe, but it is something to consider for the future. Overall, great issue and a great magazine that has turned 180 degrees from the past few years.

Kind of thought mine would be here today and maybe Soul Purpose too, But ... for the second week in a row the fucking mail carrier skipped my entire block on Saturday!! Assholes!!!

In an amazing twist of true justice, the mail carrier finally arrived around 6:30 pm! And yes, thanks to Frozen and TGR my copy of Soul Purpose was in the mailbox, but no November Powder. Then again, Yearbook played in town tonight so a fine night of ski porn was had.
