Thread: fat skis comparison

10-08-2004, 10:39 AM #26So, you really like the PR? Sounds like you actually skied these. What size did you ride? Also, you say you are a lighter-weight (lightweight?) skier...height and weight would help us help you...

If you can't hang, try www.epciski.com. They are a lot more civilized, but will try hard to talk you into a pair of 156-cm 65-mm waisted skis.

10-08-2004, 07:02 PM #32Only Bandits I have anymore are an old pair of XXX's (193's) that are rockers. Had some XX's when they were a new model and the "handle" stems from those days...Never changed it as you get a rep (good or bad) from your history with the handle/ID. I've sold a few pairs of skis over the years on these message boards and plan to push a few more this year, so keeping the handle/ID for those reasons.

I'm just glad I didn't go with "PR Man" as my handle/ID...the limp noodle jokes would be never ending...

Dude... the "bandit" handle may get you confused with teh douchebag who goes by "BanditXXX" in these parts and had an infamous debate over on pmag over scraping vs not scraping wax with dipstik. you may know, but I initially thought you were the same person. just FYI.
