SOLD!!!

like the title says. in the sake of full disclosure, i tried to sell these skis at the end of last season, had a deal pending, but pissed off the buyer when i decided that i wasn't actually looking to sell these, because my brother wanted them. i shouldn't have posted these before knowing that i was sure i wanted to sell them, but now (with gear prices the way they have been), i got my brother set up on a newer set of skis, and since i can't remember who the original buyer was going to be, i am going to offer these back up to the collective.
these skis have about 10-15 days on them. the original mid-season release vintage. mounted 3x w/ rossi axial 140's, which are included. the first mount was for a 315mm bsl for exactly half-way between the two extreme mounting points (i think +3.5?), but the ass-clown shop "tech" screwed up the mount and i pulled out a heal piece and had to remount RIIIGHT next to my original holes. i then remounted for a 317mm bsl on the rear-most mark (i think +7?). there should be PLENTY of room to remount, though, if your bsl is way off from 317mm and can't use them the way they are already set up. other than the 3 mounts, these skis are in EXCELLENT condition. they have a fresh 1* base/2* side tune and the bases are nicely structured and waxed. there are only MINOR scratches in the base. the edges and sidewalls are mint. there is only the typical, superficial, k2 topsheet chipping along the edges.
anyways, i have an EFF-ton of tgr gearswap cred. just ask dobish, silencer, squatch, nfp158, alive, givebackbloom, cooltsi, gholman12, utpowder, mmmthmtskier, bedoe, adam, or billhansen. i would prefer to deal through personal check (i think that i've proven my trustworthiness by now...), but will do paypal if the buyer is willing to pay the fees. thanks for looking!

EDIT: skis sold a long time ago. but to address a few comments in this thread... why would i snap at someone who didn't read my whole thread and then started running his mouth in a way that hurt my sale? hmm... how about the fact that i had already fully explained myself earlier in the thread. and why not take the first sale that didn't go through in context? how about the fact that i was doing a MASSIVE gear dump in that first sale and that i hooked up a bunch of mags with free/cheap gear and that it was a bit overwhelming so ONE of the sales didn't work out? as if i actually owed it to him to explain that before i snapped... it was all there. he just didn't read it. he just wanted to run his mouth. and then he offers me HALF of what i had ALREADY been offered by several other people and expects to get in line in front of them? besides, $100+ship (~$30) is not DOUBLE $200 SHIPPED. so if you're gonna cunt up my sale and lowball me, at LEAST get your facts straight...Last edited by lukc; 11-26-2009 at 01:28 PM.

Curious.
Is there a specific reason other than the season that you've doubled the price on these skis?

who the fuck are you? i've hooked up a bunch of mags by jumping on deals and passing along savings with no profit. i've given away free shit to several other mags. i gave you the back story, i have never been anything but 100% forthcoming. i do not need to justify myself to you on what is still a very good deal. and that's not just my opinion as several other people have already expressed an interest in this package at this price. not only will i refuse to deal with you in the future, i am now determined to go out of my way to cunt up every fucking deal you are working on in gearswap from now on. fuck off, JONG!!!

My goodness what a nerve I touched.
I saw them last May and passed due to other things. Saw them back up and was yet again interested. I thought that since you have such a good rep there must be an explanation that I wasn't able to see. I wasn't rude or insulting. Yet, I immediately get blasted with foul language. I'm afraid that regardless of "cred" you now look the greedy opportunist without a viable explanation.
Before you jump down a "jong's" throat you might want to double check their reasoning before acting like
.
Good luck to you and yours, my last post on the subject.Si hoc non legere potes tu asinus es

FUCK OFF JONGS
REAL mags have been showing REAL interest in my gear. jong FUCKS have been CUNTING up my inbox and this thread. sooo...
NEW RULE: if you have less than 100 posts and less than a year of membership on these forums, either ask me a REAL question about my gear/shipping, tell me that you want my shit at full price, or go fuck yourself. i don't, quite frankly, give a fuck what you think. on occassion, i am willing to work with REAL mags on price. but then again, i haven't heard SHIT about my prices from REAL mags. kthxbye.Last edited by lukc; 11-16-2009 at 12:47 PM.

allornuthin, i will look into it and get back ASAP. thanks for a genuine interest! if you can find a paper template online for a rossi axial binding (not axial2), i can even mount these up for you if the holes work out (which they should, since there is a huuuge mounting range on this ski). we can talk about options once i swing by and grab these from my brother's place!

i wouldn't have posted here but for the really tired tirade on lukc's other thread.
lukc : your overly defensive, potty mouthed attempt at explanation shows that you really have no idea how this place works...or what's good about gearswap.
instead of acting like a twelve year old with a pack of cigarettes and a bunch of new four letter words to try out BE THE KIND OF PERSON YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH.
hook up a so-called JONG (if worthy) and show him how people help eachother out around here, assuming you actually how to do this
said JONG will spread the kindness when he/she has too much gear and wants to find some of it a good home. it's called social capital.
YOUR potty mouthed BS is a drain on the usually good vibe.
