The problem with the USA is that the model of Gov. here is set so that the division of poor and wealth will continue to grow.

I would much rather not work as hard and have Government handouts, so I could just enjoy life and not worry about the pursuit of wealth.

Your replies in the smoted thread were very articulate and well thought out. But that's not what I'm asking for. I'm asking why the resident libdouches were all like "Hey bro - I'm no stinking Socialist" a few months ago and now they're all like "Well-ok - so maybe I am a Socialist. What's so wrong with that??" What's so wrong with being a Socialist? Nothing, as long as you're honest about it (which most dopes here aren't). I don't think I've "stumped" anybody - it's a pretty simple question. Anybody with an IQ on the lever of an African Violet should be able to figure it out. The last thread was smoted because 1) people were talking politics and that's not what the thread was about - the thread was about dishonesty and 2) Gogo does this all the time and I wanted to see what the big thrill was about.

I also pointed out how Obama's really not a socialist, but like I said, healthcare was a good start. And dt has yet to back up his claim of GWB's alleged socialism that no one else can find.
