How early? I was planning on Dawn Patrol meaning parking lot around 6:00. Franz remains on the fence...

Yep, that's all I know how to do. Bim's Wim is actually a killer run located at Sunday River.

I heard a name once for the runout on the far lookers left. I think it had something to do with the terrain trap nature of the area.

Is it just me, or is this season starting off with a little more activity than we usualy average?

I'll stick with some meadow skipping for now.

I'd say more that the past 5 years or so were the anomaly and this is more a typical CO snowpack.

    That sounds about right.

Today was basically dust on crust up in floral for 3 runs. If you got out of the previous skiers lines it was soft but shallow enough to hit bottom.

About 1-2 of new up there.

Nice meeting and skiing with you Prophet 10 and good skiing with you for that run IRideCO

Agree on all points. Skiing wasn't that great but I am glad we took that 3rd run. Looking forward to the next time...

Was nice meeting you two today, KillingCokes and Prophet. About an hour or two after you guys left it started coming down quite hard out there. I'd say probably 3-5 inches between Noon and 4.

it is socked in up here right now and there has been spotty orographic snow on and off all day. Snotel is saying ~4-6" already at the pass. Im probably headed up tomorrow morning, not super early, just to get out and skin around. Look at some zones. Danger is still at considerable and everything is just rotten. If anyone is up tomorrow say hey. Black pants and vest red jacket. big black praxis, and a sweet older luxury sedan.

Until last week's storm, 110s had NO snow on it. People have skied it, but I just can't say I would recommend it. Maybe an 18 inch base at this point.
