The main stuff is BEAT right now. There were moguls, repeat moguls, at the HHA switchback the other day when I drove by. Lots of stuff rotting out with the cold nights too.

I was up there from about noon till 4 skiing lapping HHA and Floral mostly. There are good turns to be had in spots, but unless you are really desperate I'd say it wouldn't be worth it tomorrow.

Had a newb relative in town so we spent a nice 3 hours up there skiing some scabby crap off Current Creek Bench, then the north-facing trees, which were short but fairly loaded and sweet.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle

Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.

I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.
