    Berthoud Photo/Conditions Thread (2009-2010)

Yep, I'm aware it's prolly still a little thin up there so far, but hey lets get the thread going anyways. Anyone got any better beta other than my vague conjecturing?

some excellent graphics from NPG, sweeet.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

I hope to get a lot more BP action this year than last. My work schedule should suit dawn patrols very very well....

Ditto. I've never skied there, but I'm hoping to get *a lot* of days in this year.

    Nice, NPG, thanks!

I'll ski HHA with barely any coverage at all. Will put it on the list.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but here are scans of the original BP ski area trail map (the links below are full size scans that should print nicely).

In Fraser, no day job, and my crew has progressively disappeared. I am down to hook up with more Mags this season at BP so hit me up. Also here is a link to a bunch of BP weather links. Snowtel, CIAC, some NOAA loops, etc, all off one page, pretty helpful.

I just want to say, American topographic maps are easily the best in the world. Canadian maps suck dick. Euro maps suck dong. Jap maps - if you can read them. the rest of the world??? fugetaboudit.

    I studied pre-law. I know this shit.

Oh, and I make maps. The Swedes invented it and couldn't capatilize. They were too busy collecting gold. Relief shading my ass....

I miss the 1:7,200 and 1:14,600 series. It was good and then we just had to go metric....

I'm a broken geek, forgive me.

Ahh, probably wishful thinking, but has anyone been investigating the area lately...driven by, anything to get excited about...i've got two more weeks til i'm back in the area, but i'm running out things to fix on my car....need some other distraction.
