    FS: Salomon X Wing Lab

    SOLD

    08/09 Salomon X Wing Lab, 198 cm. Mounted once with Jesters for a 326 bsl. Skied about 20 days, topsheets have a few scratches and the tips are nibbled a bit, but the bases are perfect and freshly tuned. $275 shipped, $250 pickup in Denver.

    AAAHHHHH. how dare you show me a great price on a ski I've wanted since it came out when I'm finalizing my 195 333s!

    I can't buy it, but what's the reason for selling?

    I'm actually selling these for a friend. He liked the length, but he like his Phantom 108s better. He told me he was going to hang them on the wall in the garage for decoration, but I though they should go to a happy home where they would get used properly.

    Ah, good reasoning. What did he like more about the 108s?

    Oh and for anybody thinking of buying these, they're just about never on sale and the best price I've ever seen is about $500, once.

    The guy is 6'7 and about 265 lbs. His skiing doesn't involve much finess. He thinks the 108s are a stronger feeling ski at speed. For a normal size person, the Labs are plenty strong.
