Snow in the PNW

Me and Laura will be driving from MT to WA tomorrow, not in time for Friday but whatever! we need some pow pow. If anyone's got floor/couch space (we have sleeping bags etc) pretty much anywhere in WA it'd be really appreciated as funds are low. We're Europeans so we'll fit in a pretty small space also..! You'll get to hear bad Finnish jokes and of course chance to stay at our place the coming seasons (this season Missoula till Dec, somewhere in BC Canada after Dec, next season who knows where) in exchange.. and beers if you so like.

Likewise if if someone's ready to show around for a bit that'd be super also, be it in-bounds or backcountry (we got gear and are not dumb). We're thinking probably somewhere along the lines of crystal/stevens/baker/alpental for resorts but not sure where we'll end up, so open for everything.

Get to Bellingham by Friday Night and there's couch space for the weekend.

1. ripping around on my snowboard
2. flailing around and trying to learn to ski powder on teles.

Baker was el sickness until about 1300 today, then it started to get a bit... wet.

It was snaining at the base when I left at about 1500, so hopefully things'll be ok up high.

Was at Xtal today. Mixed rain and snow in the lower parking lot. Snow at the base at around 8:30 AM. Very wet snow. Snowed on and off, mostly on while I was there 'til 2PM. High Campbell opened about 11ish. No one on chair six. Decent snow up high, but the wind and warm temps did a number on the East facing slopes. It was getting cooler as the day wore on, and the snow was getting better when I left. Green Valley was fine, any where in the trees, or north facing was generally soft.

like i said ill be at stevens. most likely with solomon foils (purple top sheet) white pants and brown hat (jacket tbd :P) Probably skiing slowly with two older friends so if you see a 22 year old with 2 older women that sprobably me lol

I'm bailing on Saturday (tomorrow). It rained all day today at the mtn, and just started snowing. Snow level is supposed to keep coming down, as well as the snow, so Sunday looks better.

I go every weekend. I'll have to search to figure out what mavens and districts are though. I wear a big white hat with a red pom pom, usually I end up at the bar after my back goes out.
