Lol... they are my touring rig with the CAST / P18 setup on them. They crush fresh dump days and are even fun slaying groomers at Mach speed... gets a little interesting when things really firm up.been pretty impressed by them... really gotta be on your game when it isn't fresh.

The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread
Resonates. Pure3 fanboy but not a lot of forgiveness there in many respects. Do love speed. Certainly aren't shy to remind you of their displeasure when you remove yourself from the drivers seat. Never skied the RPC ("only" 99,105,120) so color me curious. Thanks for the reply and if you ever decide to go skinny, 105 is a throw back hard charging variable condition pleasure. If looking to add to the quiver that is =)

184 Volkl Nanuq w/ Dynafit Superlite 2.0
193 Blizzard Scout w/ Marker Kingpin 13
191 Rossi GS w/ Look PX 15
194 Kastle MX 98 w/ Look Pivot 18
202 Fischer Ranger 108 w/ NOTHING, to be mounted
203 Volkl Shiro / Marker Jester
189 K2 Pontoon / Marker Jester Demo
Not pictured because friends are borrowing them
187 Blizzard Bonafides w/ Look P14
193 Blizzard Gunsmoke w/ Marker Griffon
Lange RS 140 w/ Cast toes
Lange XT Freetour 130
Atomic Carbon Backland
I'm not a fan of the Nanuqs, so they are going up for sale, but the rest have their quirks, but are awesome. I'm looking for a pair of 193 Shiros because the 202 Fischer and 203 Shiros are just too big in trees. Other then that, I'm pretty set for a while!

The story behind that ski is that the Fischer pros went to AK with the 188 and it was too small. They got Fischer to build the 108 in the 202 length for them. But since production costs for 10 skis doesn't make sense, they made 100 pairs. I friend in Jackson has a pair and loves them, so I asked around and was told the ski didn't exist and wasn't for sale, I called bull shit. I emailed Fischer North America, asked if they had any pairs for sale, said who I was, aka a nobody in the ski world. They emailed me back and said they had a few pairs left, like 40 haha, and would gladly sell me a pair at a very attractive price if I could get a Fischer shop to say it was ok to ship the skis to them. I begged a friend in a shop in town to help me out, and he said sure. A few weeks later, they showed up and now they are mine! Once I get them mounted and ski them a bit, which will probably be next winter, I'll write a quick review in Tech Talk. I can say this, they are crazy light, yet super stiff. I want to say they are on par stiffness wise with my 203 Shiros, yet maybe 50% lighter. That is a guess since the Shiros are mounted and the Rangers are not. Maybe in the fall I'll get more scientific.
