It actually just happened to work out that way, but I'm not going to pretend I didn't notice / like the color matching.

Yea actually. Dynastar = Dynamic + Starflex. Born in the 60s.
They wouldn`t be in the mix but I haven't been able to find a pair of Double Chicken Hearts yet....

I don't think that's true. Dynamic started independently and did some collaboration with Dynastar by the 60s, but Dynamic was independent until Lange bought them and then they were sold to Atomic.

Think it was the 70's they became part of atomic. I used to retopsheet skis at a factory in the late 80's early 90's. A lot of 70's skis we added some color to the top sheets. We would grind off atomic top sheet and find dynamic top sheet underneath. Same with k2/pre , élan/rd coyote , Rossi/dynastar . When companies sold out of their premier brand they just retopsheeted their alternate companies skis

Don't really know the details, '63 was way before my time, but there was some sort of partnership going on:
    http://www.dynastar.com/US/US/50-ans.html
"In was back in 1963 that the brand with the slim «mustache» logo came into being close to the town of Sallanches, born from the inspired union of two manufacturing companies with strong ambitions. The partnership between Starflex skis, produced by Plastiques Synthétiques, and Dynamic resulted in the birth of new high-performance skis called Compound and a new brand - Dynastar - a clever blend of Dynamic and Starflex."

That's pretty cool. Never heard of starflex and wouldn't have associated dynastar with dynamic. Always thought dynamic wood core dbl torsion box built to last as opposed to foam dynastar bic pen of skis. Loved my dynamics vr27 gs but also liked my coupe de monde's inspite of the 8 inch of missing edge on both edges of both skis

It's not a "quiver" unless you ski every one of those pairs at least once this winter. Otherwise, it's just a "collection".
