as i said before, the iggies belong to gaperman, powpow, and mildbill. the basement is not mine, as i live is massachusetts not utah. i did get to play lots of beer pong in this room, and fondle lots of skis. some of those skis are mine, but the collective is five people.

it was my idea to line up all those ffl's, a more pretty picture i can not imagine (cept pictures of people skiing on the pretty skis)

27 pairs of skis between five people. thats normal right?

gaperman has the two rastas, and the woodies with the rossi 180's. kid with the white topsheets from washington last spring never was on the board i belive.

bill has his 190's for touring. 200's for maching. fff's for floating. those are also his stormriders in the other pic. kid has a problem..... big time

i also have a major problem:

My Current and not so current quiver

I'm a late comer to the quiver thread.

I know it's contrary to the popular notion of more is better; but, I'm trying to keep my day-to-day quiver at two, maybe three, pair of skis.

    The Antiques

    207 CCM Flyte
    210 Rossignol Strato
213 Volkl Competition Explosive - New
    210 Volkl Bavarian Dream Ski
218 Kastle DH - speed-tested for the Lake Placid Olympics
    205 Volkl VP-19 SLX

    The Current Toys

    178 Volkl AX4

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

What a coincidence! Those are my dimensions as well, although I have two fins- one on my back, and one on the top of my head.

I admit, I am very strange looking.

Finally got most of my skis (+gf`s skis) in one picture.
A little late but season just ended here, just back form summerskiing at Stryn.

    190 Explosives w/Look ZR 18
    190 Gotama w/Rottefalla R8
    185 XXX`s w/Targa T9
    182 Troublemakers w/Look P12 Jib

    Gf`s skis
    175 Scratch BC`s w/Salomn 810 TI
    178 XXX`s w/Linken

    And my favourites

    180 Yetis w/Rat-trap Chilli
My dads ~1984 rando rig converted ot my tele rig back in `92.
At the time I was laughed at for skiing such "wide" tele skis. Actually they whooped the ass of any other tele skis available at the time...

Also in the quiver but not in use.
    187 X-Scream 2 w/Rottefella Riva 1
178 1080 Ex-rentals with no more base, edges nor base. Complimentary skis from the shop when I bought my Explosives. As I was a bit worried about how a pair of 190 Exploders w/ Race bindings would handle in the park the very cool guys at Snell in Chamonix gave me a pair if their old demo 1080. Shot to shite and with worn rental bindings, but still a grand gesture.Props to them!

Quiver plan for next season include getting some Legend Pro 186`s for the ZR bindings, turning the Explosives to a tele rig and most likely ditching the Gotamas.

I'm thinking rossi exaggerates their lengths a little bit. Those concepts dont look 6cm shorter than the bandits, and those xxx are definately not 7cm longer than the k2s.

But then again, who doesnt add on an extra inch or so?
