179 and 198 in the same quiver - that's quite a range.

That's what happens when you grow up in Texas and buy your first pair of skis before moving north. 2 seasons in Utah, and my ability and understanding of skis has changed drastically. The prophets have been relegated to the bumps, and [there aren't enough skiers/ there is too much snow] for bumps to ever really form at Basin.
relax... I'm a professional.

if you look at the pic, the lib's and the surface's lengths seem fairly true to size. the obsethed's are way longer than their listed length of 189. probably closer to 194. also, the lib's have quite a lot of camber underfoot and when you decamber them, the tip and tail rocker almost doubles. wouldn't want to go with them too short.

I should probably buy some thin skis...
Line Elizabeth - teaching, ride breaks, park
EP Pro - for sex with the snow
Pollards Opus - Same thing, but stiffer, also touring
ARG - when the snow tries to drown me, and also touring
191cm 2012 Billy Goats in disguise - reliability at speed in all snow conditions, in any terrain.

The only "overlap" I see might be the Lotus/Hellbent/Toons, but I prefer "what to choose on a pow day" to overlap. They are different in flex and dimension.
Let it FUCKIN SNOW

Old quiver, new storage solution.
185 Line Opus: powder and one ski quiver for trips
183 Line Chronic: park
172 Line Elizabeth: old park skis, currently a beater pair that doesn't see much use
I think my next purchase will be a pair of proper groomer cruisers. Probably Nordica Fire Arrows or something similar.
