^^^^^^^^And I thought I had a problem, well played
I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Think I'm set for a while, but who knows.
L to R:
181 Hardsides. Inserts for Plum Guide/ Dynafit. Spring touring
187 WooTest. Will get inserts for Plum. Low-angle pow touring.
191 Fat. Inserts for FKS and Plum Guide (shown). Mainly big touring days, resort non-pow days.
186 Renegade. FKS. Most resort days for me.
202 L138 R2. Inserts for Duke, might throw some FKS on there too. Best ski ever - resort pow, hate-fucking the mountain.

Excellent work, BirdBlaster! Those 112s pure or hybrid? Interested to hear your thoughts of the 112RP vs the Renegade.

It just seems like you'll love one or the other (though I've never actually skied the 112s, just the L120s). Bought a pair of 112s, then flexed them and spent some time on my other skis and realized I probably wasn't gonna like them for how I ski. Which is why I'm really curious to hear your opinion. I think whyturn might be the only guy I've read a review of both from.
FWIW, it took me a good half a day to get used to the Rens. And that was coming from L138s. They just require a different balance—and if I ski something else for a while, it takes me a run to adjust or I get taken for a ride. Once you find the sweet spot though, it's oh so sweet. Thoughts were something like:
Run 1: These skis are neither playful nor chargy!?! Everyone was wrong. TGR sucks. How much money can I get for a ski that was only skied a few runs?
Run 2: Yeah, starting to see the charger side a bit. Maybe I shouldn't have switched straight from a 202 L138 to a 186 Ren?
Run 3: Hey, these are kinda playful in the trees too...
Run 4+: These just keep getting better and better!
Day 2: Man, I'm as comfortable in tight trees as I am in open bowls! These skis rock!"Alpine rock and steep, deep powder are what I seek, and I will always find solace there." - Bean Bowers

^^ rocker looks massive compared to mine as well! Oh well...
This is my little setup for the winter, should cover all bases for me. Seems like I might have to resort to using trekkers if I find time to hit the sidecountry..
186 4frnt Renegade - to be mounted, FKS 180 or Solly STH16
183 PMGear Fat Bro - Rossi Axial 200
190 Fischer GS - Fischer 10-18
Not pictured is a mass of other race gear, epic ski stuuf
ohya, some fischer vacuum boots (still need boosters) that I will report back on next week. The plastic already seems softer than a typical 150, hmm..

This past season was only my second full one. After riding the Opuses for a time, I realized I needed more length (at 6'3" 205), so I made a couple acquisitions during sale season.
198 Volkl Katana w/ FKS 180
196 Moment Donner Party w/ Jesters
185 Line Pollard's Opus [lost its bindings for now]
179 Line Prophet 90 w/ STH
I'm hoping to turn the Opus into an AT setup before next season rolls around since I finally have some people to go with.relax... I'm a professional.

Ha, I like how those two skis make the Opus look like a 175
