The White pow boards look pretty cool up close as well. Got the red Protests and white Pow boards and the wholly mammoth and wave like cliff are sick as.

Good to know your quiver will be back in the lower 48 next winter. Is this what you do when the wife's out of town? Take pictures of skis and play with your internet friends? Tell E congrats on the job, we'll see you this summer.

I feel like my quiver is very balanced now:

    160 Firscher RX8 - icy mole hill
    187 XXL - daily driver
192 Pure Lotus 138 F2 Rocker 3.2 - British Columbia heliskiing is the reason I bought them but anything more than 4" is fun on them actually

^^For a piste ski Vist is just not pretty to look at they got like nuts. Its not about getting from the top to the bottom as fast as possible its about rippin some sick trenches. Have 10 pairs in the shop right now hard as hell to sell but people left right and center will tell you they are just a neutral ball to the wall ski. The superfront2 Japan edition looks ridiculous.

scotia I remember you used to have some 138s. How would you compare your Redeemers to the 138s in deep blower and heavier wind-affected snow?

Got pics? Been looking at some of Vists wider options for a hard snow ski. A bit much £/€ though. What do you retail them at?

Not had 138s... the Redeemers are great in any kind of 3D snow and almost fun on soft groomed runs.

Well the super front 1 retails for €999 but like all ski prices thats negotiable as they like to say. The Japan edition is a super front 2 I think and looks like sex on the beach that is how cool it looks. White with red racing strips and Black Vist logo but in Japanese characters (retail €1500). The other one we had which was special oder (€1700) had a real large weave carbon fiber top sheet covered in a see through material that made 3d look even more 3D. I Ski them every now and again and like them. They just don't wig out on you at high speed. I still feel that a ski laid up by hand properly has the potential to have a better flex pattern then those by machine. E.g Head GS and SL skis or the New Salomon GS. They are just hard sons a bitches and take the sick feeling of railing a carve away.
