Toad's Wild Ride POV - August 2009
South Lake Tahoe - Toad's Wild Ride from the Rim Trail (if I have my names right). August 2009.
Long video. Mostly just solo, but I come across and follow a rider for a bit. If nothing else, check out my wreck at 02:35 Disappointed at how the camera takes the steepness of a couple of sections away - also takes away speed and tech... oh well.
What a fun trail - rocky bits, little things to jump over/off, techy sections, and high speed flow.Last edited by brettf; 09-03-2009 at 08:19 PM.

Good stuff. All my rides on that trail have been on 80mm HTs with V brakes...and they still rule!
I gotta find the 1999 helmet cam footage....somewhere in Pete F land.Bike Shop Bully

you know joe - I just talked about you when i was riding with tyrone shoelaces today. That was in the context of how fast locals were in their own terrain and how i was owned by the Cali crowd in Tahoe.

Strange to think I was "Cali crowd" once. I still remember watching NSX 2 in that crappy pizza place in Tahoe like it was last year though. My mind was completely blown.
Plus: I remember you owning the vast majority of that crew. Our rally down Drunken Bear will live in infamy.Bike Shop Bully
