I hate I-70
The wife wanted to take a drive today up to the mountains. I reluctantly agreed since it is football Sunday.
We decided to drive 285 and cut across to Breck, so far a nice day. Get to Breck have a nice lunch and a beer at Octoberfest, again a good time. Took a little hike around Breck to help lunch digest.
The next decision brought down an other wise enjoyable Sunday. We drove from Breck over Loveland pass and onto the Highway to Hell. 2 fricking hours to get from Loveland ski area to C-470.
I might kill somebody if I have to deal with this all winter.
Thanks for listening to my little rant.
Put on your seat belt, I saw this in a cartoon once.

Yeah, wait until it snows a few inches on Sunday.
It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.

Yeah it sucks! I do however laugh every now and again as I flip through the channels and see the live I 70 cameras and the jam that starts around Georgetown as I sip a beer in front of the fireplace from the comfort of my Vail trophy home.
Skiing Sucks! What a stupid sport!

A 7 layer burrito at the Taco Bell in Georgetown(in the gas station) always seemed to help that drive go by a bit quicker.

Sorry Homer, I was just busting chops a bit. I do live in Vail. However, the accomodations are far from trophy. I ususlly have an extra couch or two if ever in need.
