Santa Fe street photography
A few selected images from one of the Santa Fe photographic workshops I attended last week.
Lots more on my website www.ColoradoPhotographer.com under the "Santa Fe" tab.

On an ultra-high contrast kick, eh? Gotta say I'm not a fan of that in general.

Kind of with tip on this one...
1- Snap shotty, a bit of composition but doesnt really say anything. If there was context, (i.e. you were doing a photo story of that dude riding a bike) it would likely make decent filler.
2-Good shot. Reminds me of something I would see on Magnum... if you were closer.
3- Would be better if the left side lady was gone.
4-I like this photo if you crop that lady out. She seems like a snapshot.
5-huh? No thanks.
6- This one is kind of neat. Tells a story.
7- Not feeling the lack of information... or the old dude in the foreground. Shadow reduction and a crop for the boy in the window might be good?
8- WB? Neat composition. interesting moment. Would help if you were more square with the building.
Overall, practice. Get closer and keep working at it. A lot of these seem like they would make good bridges in a photo essay, but none are really strong enough, IMO, to stand alone. (possibly aside from a cropped version of #4)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not really sure where these photos fit in my work. I'm glad I made them, but like you said, they aren't really strong enough to stand on their own. I guess they are meant to be sort of more visually experimental, just to see what's possible with that kind of light.
Here are a few more:
