finally did this on tuesday. AMAZING ride, after the super mega robo gnar of a climb. HOLY SHIT! man was i regretting having my 43lb bike for the brief but brutal climb. could barely hike the shit it was so steep.
but it was definitely worth it. not super fast or worthy of using the FR bike, but techy, rocky sections above the creek with wildflowers and overgrowth everywhere. still green as shit. had a glorious sunny day. cant wait to do it again. had beers in redcliffe afterwards and it made for a sweet day.
