Thread: New Movie Reviews???

Well, the new ski movies are starting to come out, so lets hear some reviews. Anyone had the chance to catch a premier?

I've only heard some buzz about the new snowboard movies. Apparently the new robotfood movie Afterlame is pretty average. Can anyone confirm? their movies get me just as stoked to go skiing as any ski movie does. It'd suck to see them put out a bad flick.

I've already posted this in another thread, but I figured since the jong started the thread we might as well use it since its getting that time of year.

My Review of Stimulus:

The backcountry snowmobile segment was pretty sweet, I would have loved to seen more of the monster dump at Bridger and Jamie is lucky to be alive, other than that, to be honest I really wasn't that impressed. I like The Trip and JSD better than this flick.

I think it just my response to all the ski porn that I've been watching over the years. You watch so much it all starts looking the same and you become immune. Nothing struck me as new or innovative or huge such as Sage's (could have been a different skier, too lazy to pop it in and look) line in JSD. Don't get me wrong, it was a good flick, just nothing had me hitting the reverse button. It had me wondering if I was watching a PBP flick at some points because of the music. I like high the high energy music that TGR and MSP use and not the rap. Just my .02.

edit: I know there is a thread with people who have already seen the premier of Stimulus. We can use this thread to review all of the movies as they come out.
