Reintroduced recently to the album "Dusk"
I forgot how beautiful the whole album is. Well worth a listen if you haven't heard it. Always reminds me of an easy, sun drenched groomer.

My buddies in high school used to listen to The The, and I never really paid them much attention, despite hearing how Matt Johnson was a genius.
Listening to Dusk right now, liking it.

Some of their stuff is really poppy and synth-driven. Not really that good if you ask me.
Dusk wasn't built that way.
