Minneapolis/St. Paul?
Any of you guys know of some good trails to ride in the southern part of St. Paul? Just found out work is sending me there for 6 weeks.
Also, any recommendations on a LBS that rents quality rides?

there is a lot of great riding in MPLS/ ST. Paul we have
1. theo wirth park
2. battle creek
3. murphy
4. lebanon hills
5. hillside park
6.river bottoms
7. terrace oaks
8. salem hills
9. afton alps
all with in a 30min drive of mpls
go to www.morcmtb.org, this is the local minneosta riding club. there are many weekly group rides at these trails. it is also a very active forum. say you are from out of town and you will have people offering to take you out.
for your free riding pleasures check out hillside park in elk river. if you want fast flowly single track, get down to murphy in savage, and for a mix of both check out lebanon hills in eagan, then drive down the road and hit up the local pump track and dirt jumps. for brutal climbs and ruff down check out afton. and if your feeling up to some XC racing while you are in town check out the local series. www.mnscs.com
there are also many shops in town that will demo bikes. once again go to www.morcmtb.org to get a better list of demos.
