Today I saw a Calder exhibit, of his early parisian works.
His wire sculputures are amazing.
Photos were not permitted but I managed to get this shot."Typically euro, french in particular, in my opinion. It's the same skiing or climbing there. They are completely unfazed by their own assholeness. Like it's normal." - srsosbso

Saw the touring exibit a few years ago and yes, I preferred the Wire sculptures to the mobiles as well. We do have two nice mobiles that live here in DC, however:
"Untitled" - National Gallery of Art East Wing, his last large work
"Mountains and Clouds" - Senate Hart Office Building
